ITINERARY
What You'll Experience
Board at Kabataş pier, five minutes' walk from the T1 tram stop and ten from Dolmabahçe. Your captain and crew are on board before you arrive; the yacht leaves on your schedule, not a timetable.
The European shore opens immediately: the 600-metre marble façade of Dolmabahçe Palace, then Çırağan Palace next door, where the sultans received foreign heads of state. Both were designed to be seen from the water.
Ortaköy Mosque sits directly beneath the 15 July Martyrs Bridge — the photograph every visitor wants, and the one you can only take from below. The yacht passes under the bridge and crosses to the Asian shore.
Built by Mehmed II in 1452 in four months, before he took Constantinople. The three great towers and the curtain walls still read as a working fortification from the water, which is where their scale makes sense.
The return leg circles the Maiden's Tower on its islet off Üsküdar, then follows the Asian shore south past Beylerbeyi before crossing back to Kabataş. Sunset departures end here, with the Old City skyline lit behind you.

Tour Overview
Two hours is the shortest honest way to see the Bosphorus. The yacht covers roughly 20 kilometres of the strait — both palaces, both bridges, the fortress and the tower — because a private boat ignores the ferry timetable and the group-tour pickups that eat an hour before the water even starts.
It suits travellers with a half-day free, guests who want a proposal or a celebration with a private deck, and anyone who has done the Old City on foot and wants the city from the other side. Departure times are yours; sunset slots book first.
Good to Know
- The yacht is private for your group — not a shared cruise or a scheduled ferry
- Departure point is Kabataş pier; hotel transfers are not included but can be added on request
- Up to 12 guests on the standard yacht; larger vessels available for bigger groups
- Food and drinks beyond the included snacks and soft drinks can be arranged in advance
- Departure depends on weather; strong wind may shorten the northern leg toward the Rumeli Fortress
- Bring a light layer — the deck is cooler than the shore, and it is colder after sunset

When To Travel
April to June and September to October give calm water and the most comfortable deck temperature, at 16–25°C. July and August are warm and the evening slots are the best of the day — the light turns gold around 19:30 and the palaces are lit by the time you return. November to March is quiet and cool at 6–12°C; the yacht runs, but the upper deck is often closed and the route stays south of the second bridge. Morning departures have the flattest water year-round.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the yacht depart from?
Kabataş pier on the European shore, five minutes' walk from the T1 tram stop and ten from Dolmabahçe Palace. Hotel transfers are not included in the price but can be added when you book.
How many guests can join?
Up to 12 on the standard yacht. Larger vessels are available for bigger groups — tell us your number at booking and we send the right boat and price.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, with notice. Snacks and soft drinks are included; for a birthday, a proposal or a full meal on board we arrange catering in advance. Corkage is not charged.
Is there a toilet and shade on board?
Yes. The yacht has a cabin with a toilet, shaded seating at the stern and an open deck forward. Life jackets in all sizes are carried on board.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain does not stop the cruise — the covered seating area stays dry. If strong wind or a storm warning closes the strait to small craft, we reschedule or refund in full.
