Bosphorus Dinner Cruise

Dinner served between two continents, both palaces lit.

Dinner Between Two Continents

This is a three-hour evening cruise on the Bosphorus with dinner served on board, live Turkish music and folk dance, and hotel transfers included. Boarding is at 20:00 from Kabataş and the price is €50 per person.

The route is chosen for the view rather than the distance: the boat covers about twelve kilometres, slowly, so that the Bosphorus Bridge is directly overhead at the point when the light is best, with both palaces lit on either shore.

Dinner service20:30 – 21:30

Live music and folk dance21:30 – 22:30

Return along the Asian shore22:30 – 23:30

The boat crosses to the Asian side and returns south past Beylerbeyi and the illuminated Bosphorus Bridge, then docks at Kabataş. Transfer back to your hotel follows.

About This Experience

This is the classic Istanbul evening: dinner served while the boat runs between two continents, with both palaces and both bridges lit on either side. The route is chosen for the view rather than the distance — the boat covers about twelve kilometres, slowly, so that the Bosphorus Bridge is directly overhead at the point when the light is best.

The evening suits couples, families and groups who want one organised night rather than a restaurant booking, and cruise passengers whose ship overnights in Istanbul. It is a fixed programme with live music and a set menu, not a quiet dinner — travellers looking for a silent table should book the private yacht cruise instead.

When To Go

The cruise runs year-round and is enclosed and heated, so weather rarely cancels it. April to June and September to October give the most comfortable deck temperature and the latest sunsets, which means the palaces are still lit when you pass. July and August are warm and the upper deck is the place to be, though it books out fastest. November to March is cooler and quieter — the boat stays enclosed, the views are the same, and the price is often lower. Avoid Saturday nights in high season if you want a calmer table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is alcohol included?

No. Soft drinks are unlimited and included; beer, wine and spirits are available for purchase on board. Prices are set by the boat operator and are comparable to a mid-range Istanbul restaurant.

Where do we board?

At the pier in Kabataş, on the European shore. Hotel transfers are included from central Istanbul; if your hotel is outside those districts we set a meeting point ten minutes from the pier.

Can you cater for vegetarians or allergies?

Yes, with notice. A vegetarian menu is standard on request, and the kitchen handles nut and gluten requirements if you tell us at booking. Halal is the default for all menus.

Is the boat private?

No. This is a shared cruise on a large vessel with other guests and a fixed programme. For a private boat with your own table and route, book our private Bosphorus yacht cruise instead.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. The music and dance set is family-friendly, the boat is stable, and children under 6 join free. Child seats in the transfer vehicle are available on request.
