- When To Travel
The most comfortable time to explore Eastern Anatolia is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October). During these months, the weather is mild enough to explore high altitude sites like Mount Nemrut and the ancient ruins of Ani without the harsh extremes of the region’s freezing winters or peak summer heat.
